An independent Celebrant is a professionally trained official with the skills and experience to create and deliver personal ceremonies for those momentous lifetime events. I’m based in Gloucestershire and trained with Civil Ceremonies Ltd. There are numerous life events which are so important they need to be celebrated with our loved ones around us and my main area of ceremonial work is centred around Weddings/Commitment Ceremonies and Vow renewals.
You are probably spending most of your time planning and deciding exactly what you want your celebration to look like but before you start getting to the specific details of your big day, it’s extremely important to decide on who is going to perform your ceremony, which is probably the most meaningful part of your big day.

Ruth performed our Wedding Ceremony after such a long wait due to lockdowns (2 years and 26 days after our original date to be exact). It was such a beautiful ceremony. Ruth was great throughout the whole process and really helped capture us both within her words.
